International Maintenance Company Launches Brand in U.S.

Project Story

Universal Facility Services is a division of the Universal Group of Companies, located in New Orleans, LA, Vancouver and Toronto, Canada. They are experts in the professional maintenance of commercial, residential, and industrial spaces.

Challenge

Newly re-branded, UFS had no formal plan for marketing and selling its services and needed to develop a strategy for utilizing technology and resources to generate, work, close and follow up with new qualified leads. Additionally, they needed to develop a strong value proposition for their brand to differentiate from competitors and to retain their customers.

Solution

Working with the CEO, VP of Operations and VP of Sales & Marketing, Converge developed a comprehensive business development and marketing plan which included a full competitor analysis, branding opportunities, recommendations on service offerings and pricing, key audience identification, and a full sales/lead generation process and campaign strategy.

Results

Overseeing the launch of the brand in New Orleans, Converge helped UFS gain over 200 media placements and inquiries, including key introductions with economic development organizations in the first week. UFS now has a complete picture of what it needs to do to grow market share, attract new clients and beat out its competition. UFS has adopted the plan we developed to assist with creating new branded materials, company restructuring, budgeting, technology adoption and lead generation execution.
